Pareidolia – the tendency to perceive meaningful images in completely random or ambiguous visual patterns.
In our childhood, most of us often used to look at the clouds in the sky and see different images in them. This phenomenon is basically known as pareidolia. While many of us look at this just as a theory, a Russian artist Anna Chvindt used it brilliantly in her paintings. Anna paints different creatures she sees around her due to pareidolia, and the results are stunning. She saw Pareidolia as a wonderful resource, making her observe more in everyday objects. She created many paintings of owls, aliens, animated movie characters, mythological creatures from only a scratch in the wall.
