In today’s Hi-tech world, we need to teach our children about the power of their imaginations and encourage them to pursue their creative potential. It’s monstrous that school children aren’t allowed to spend more time doing art in schools, don’t you agree?
The Monster Project is an awesome collaboration among skilled artist from around the world who recreate drawings, created by elementary school students, in their styles to help teach the kids about the importance of creativity and imagination.
The first artist who initiated this project created a picture book “Monsters Go Night-Night” which was based on monster drawings of his 4 to 5-year-old son Elijah. When the book released a few years ago, to celebrate, he invited other artists to also re-imagine Elijah’s original monster drawings in fan art. Since then HUNDREDS of illustrations came in under the #MonstersGo. There are currently around 1,250 pieces of MonstersGo artwork that have been created by artists from all over the world! Listed below are a few examples. So, scroll on peeps and see for yourself!
